Amma’s White Flower Meditation on Peace
International Yoga Day Meditation and Chant
When Amma, the Hugging Saint, enters the hall and takes Her seat, smiling, beaming at us brightly, She soon closes Her eyes.
Her senior swami then says, “Amma would like us to meditate for some time.” This is that meditation. We rest afterwards and then chant together.
International Yoga Day is celebrated around the world each year on the 21st June and it is an opportunity for the entire planet to unite in yoga practices on the same day. It was declared in 2016 by the United Nations who recognise it’s universal appeal.
Join us for an hour of meditation, the sharing of its benefits through discussion, enjoy some chanting and be nourished by ritual.
During the morning there will be a
- Meditation
- Chant
